Description

Billionaire Mrs Surya, CEO of WECU, will hand over not only the cash, but exclusive access to her secret space programme. After all, it seems that Mrs Surya, director of the WECU space programme understands Ajay’s struggles and seeks to support each of the team.

Ajay’s wish has come true – he’s a news reporter for the paper he and his friends set up, The Mumbai Sun. When street kid, Ajay, uncovers a scandal that threatens to evict thousands of the poorest people of Mumbai from their homes, he knows he has an important story to tell. This is a gripping and beautifully written book, full of adventure, humour, poignancy and characters so real you feel by the end of the book some of them have become your close friends. Your selection was perfect for our children and what really made the difference was your ability to engage with each child, discuss their interests and help them to choose a suitable book based on your extensive knowledge of the books you were selling. They need a big story – and when a meteor crashes to Earth, and there’s a competition to find it, Ajay and his friends find themselves in a space race to Jaipur! A warm breeze whirled through the station, catching and whipping up a page from the last copy of The Mumbai Sun and blowing it along the railway platform.

Getting to Jaipur is just the beginning - because waiting for them is an opponent with a terrifying ambition. Then again, isn’t this industry what unites them and gives them purpose in each of their individual ways?

Alongside a cracking detective story, we’ve characters who depend upon each other and whom we care for. Ajay held up the faluda-pink paper in triumph (although sadly, no one else seemed to have noticed his amazing feat of skill and dexterity). Thereafter, Varsha Shah offers a background history to her characters, from British colonialism to Jaipur, and then the space race too!It was such a pleasure to meet you both, and I really appreciated how smoothly and professionally you ran everything. They need a big story - and when a meteor crashes to Earth, and there's a competition to find it, Ajay and his friends find themselves in a space race to Jaipur! I have even talked the head into a little revamp of the library so that we can display them properly! Addictively lively and heartfelt' THE GUARDIAN --- --This text refers to an alternate kindle_edition edition.

Ajay is an incredible character and as the twists and turns of the fast-paced plot unfold in the most dramatic way you feel like you're part of this ingenious gang. It's a great adventure with a cast of lovely characters and I enjoyed it just as much or even more than the first one! Ajay’s determined to uncover the truth, but in so doing might unravel a plot that goes right to the top! I haven't charted out my visits for the summer term, but I'm sure there are several in the south) and thanks so much for being so fantastic! The fearless gang overcome obstacles and with Varsha Shah's great writing, it was like I was right beside them all. Raises a number of different ethical and current issues in a way that was thought provoking but not heavy handed. It seems the printing press upon which he prepares Ajay’s news is time consuming, elderly and on its last legs.
